Cynebelle: The Colours of Grief is a 2D story-driven platformer centered around a girl named Cynebelle. In a world where reality blends with dreams, Cynebelle embarks on a journey through surreal, ever-shifting landscapes to uncover the truth about her father's disappearance. As she traverses through this hauntingly beautiful world, Cynebelle faces not only physical challenges—like battling shadowy creatures that lurk in the depths—but also the emotional weight of her grief. Each level represents a different stage of her emotional journey, with colors and environments changing to reflect her evolving state of mind. Along the way, she encounters memories, both painful and comforting, which she must piece together to find closure and inner peace.
